CSTA is pleased to offer scholarships to support teachers who could not otherwise attend the CSTA Conference due to funding limitations. Thanks to the generous support of our partners, we are able to offer financial support to cover conference registration fee, three nights in a hotel, and/or airfare, train, or mileage reimbursement (up to $500).
The application is short; we anticipate it will require 15-30 minutes to complete. It requests basic information about you and your teaching background, characteristics of the students you teach, and two short essay questions (less than 250 words each): 1) Why do you want to attend the conference? 2) How will attending the conference impact your teaching practice? The application deadline is March 30. CSTA will review applications on a rolling basis from February through April. CSTA will award as many scholarships as possible to help deserving teachers join this excellent learning opportunity and will give priority consideration to: First-time conference attendees. Teachers of color. Teachers who teach underrepresented students in CS. Active CSTA members and volunteers. Conference presenters (and those who submitted proposals).
